Our English Plus groups offer your child a real bilingual environment as both English and Hungarian are present in all the groups throughout the whole day. In all our groups there are 2 teachers, one speaking exclusively Hungarian to the children while the other teacher speaks exclusively English to them.

On top of continous learning opportunity of English in real-life situations from breakfast time till afternoon play time, English is taught for one session per day lasting 15-45 minutes (15 minutes in the nursery groups and 30-45 minutes in the kindergarten groups.) Using a playful and visual approach, this curriculum encourages children to enjoy language learning, get the hang of English and have fun using English in their everyday life.

The main language remains Hungarian since about 80% of the children attending Pinocchio come from a Hungarian family so they speak to one another in Hungarian, naturally involving and encouraging non-Hungarian children to use the language. In our experience, children whose native language is not Hungarian can typically speak Hungarian fluently after 8-10 months. Our bilingual groups are perfect for international families who want their children to have a strong base in Hungarian with some exposure to English. According to our curricululm children have each day a development lesson held in Hungarian lasting 15-45 minutes (length depends on age group).
