The children engage in skill development activities in Hungarian and English each day to ensure they will start school well prepared and with a good command of English. During the final year, we provide special, intensive sessions to prepare the 3rd year kindergarten children for school entrance tests to give them the best possible chance of attaining a place at the school that their parents have selected. Success in entrance tests is proof of the high-quality instruction we provide (see also Why us? in the menu bar.)

From the nursery through to kindergarten, the children have development sessions each day. During such sessions, the nursery children learn songs, rhymes and poems each day (to develop their vocabulary, expressiveness and self-confidence). They play games in a circle (social behaviour) and listen to stories (to develop their imagination).
Twice a week, the nursery children engage in arts and crafts sessions (to develop their fine motor skills and introduce them to creative techniques such as finger painting, tempera, pencils and crayons). The nursery children also have physical exercise classes twice a week (to promote movement coordination and development, a lifestyle approach and gross motor skills). These sessions include exercises to improve posture and prevent flat feet. The children have a folk dance class once a week (to enhance their sense of rhythm, introduce them to folk traditions and develop their gross motor skills.)
Our learning programme extends right the way from nursery school through to primary school entrance tests. Based on experience, children who start attending nursery school in due time perform better in kindergarten. That makes it possible for them to attain entry to the best schools at the age of 6 or 7.
