The management and staff of Pinocchio Kindergarten strongly believe that children who are cared for in a calm, loving, bright and happy environment will grow into active and successful adults.
Our kindergarten provides such an atmosphere through the care, love and professional experience of our staff (with all our hearts and expertise), with the group rooms' homey, cozy atmosphere and carefully selected equipment as well as with its overall playful and cheerful approach.
We provide for the continuous development of the child by using learning integrated into games which follow the kindergarten's education programme. Our top pedagogical objective is to develop children's self-esteem, to expand their horizons and to provide them with as much with a sense of accomplishment as possible. We place great emphasis on the conscious and planned development of social and intellectual skills to ensure successful school entrance exams and integration. Therefore, the last year of kindergarten focuses on preparing children for school (development of math skills, educational games preparing children for writing and reading, learning of concepts and preparation for school life). Our education program also promotes environmental protection and healthy living.
We also prioritise our child-centred approach and pedagogical method scaled to children, and place an equal emphasis on the physical, mental and intellectual development of our children.
