For non-Hungarian children whose parents' work requires them to
stay in Hungary for longer periods, it is important and necessary
to learn the Hungarian language as soon as possible in order to
be able to fit into life in Hungary. Immersed in the Hungarian language
environment, non-Hungarian children can quickly pick up the language
as Hungarian is the primary means of communication in our kindergarten.
In addition to correcting any speech disorders, our speech therapist
has one-on-one Hungarian sessions tailored to the individual needs
of non-Hungarian children. With children who are not native speakers
of Hungarian, we place great emphasis on helping them to not only
understand but to also use the Hungarian language so that regardless
of whether the parents select an international or a Hungarian school,
these children can be admitted to and start school studies at the
same level as their Hungarian peers.

Our education programme places great emphasis getting children to
know and enjoy speaking English, on helping them acquire a basic
conversational vocabulary and general speech panels as well as teaching
them songs and nursery rhymes.
Each kindergarten group has a morning English language session every
day. The structure and curriculum of the English classes are based
on the special education material specifically developed for children
by Oxford University. Using a playful and visual approach, this
curriculum helps children learn to enjoy language learning and to
have fun using English in their everyday life. The English teacher
also takes an active part in the group's afternoon activities and
communicates with the children only in English. All this helps to
turn the children's initial passive vocabulary into an active one
by the end of the children's stay in the kindergarten.
